Could there be a better gift for Valentine's day than a massage? Well yes, you could create a package of three different services, one for hot stone, one for aromatherapy, one for reflexology. Or a gift package with chocolate and a gift certificate. Or a couples massage class.
Valentine's Day is a great holiday for massage gift certificate sales and specials. And now is the time to start thinking about what you are going to offer and how you are going to market it. Keep these things in mind when coming up with your specials:

Try to give your clients several different options, each costing a little more. Many people given three choices will desire to pick the more extravagent gift. It will help them feel very generous and confident that they are getting a great gift for their loved ones.

Consider partnering with other businesses to sell your certificates for you. For example, a florist could add your gifts into a package (you give them a percentage of the sale).

Give your specials an attractive name. If you have three different offers, make each name more alluring and special sounding. Make it sound exciting to give and to get this gift.

Make sure you get the word out early and in many different ways. Put it in your newsletter, on your desk, and on your web site.
