Resources for Getting & Using Massage Pictures

This page will provide you with resources on where to get massage pictures and images, and it will also give you some insights on when and how to use them in your marketing. This resource should prove very handy since searching the web can give you some very distasteful results.

Using images in your marketing can be a great idea. A massage picture can provide your target market of viewers with an immediate message about what you do, and even what style of services you provide.

When deciding on when to use massage pictures in your marketing, keep in mind this rule: You only use a picture (or a graphic for that matter) in marketing when it performs a very specific supportive role to the content. If a picture will convey meaning quicker and better than words, or give a feeling you cannot convey with your content, then it might be right. But don't just throw in a picture just because you feel it makes the ad look better. Ads don't sell better just because they are good looking. If a massage therapy picture would help further your message, that is the time to use it.

It is important to use a picture or image that is very professional looking. Unless you are pretty good at photography, try to refrain from taking your own snapshots. You want to have beautiful light in your pictures, clean uncluttered backgrounds, and excellent composition. And generally, it takes a professional to get a shot with all of those things right, particularly indoor shots where lighting is so hard to control.

Keep in mind that a picture you use for your web site is very different than one you would use for a print advertisement. You can (and should) use a low resolution image for your web site, but you will need to pretty high resolution for any print items.

So you are probably wondering, where do I get good massage pictures? Unfortunately, the best places to get professional images for massage are not free. The majority of good massage pictures are available at what are called Photography Stock Houses. These are places that sell photographs for photographers. Often a photography stock photo house will represent thousands of photographers.

But there are some free or almost free places to get some pretty good massage pictures.

When looking to use or purchase pictures you are probably going to want Royalty Free pictures. These images can be used as often as you want, for whatever reason you want. They are generally based on size.
