Massage Marketing Books & Business Guides

This page is a resource of massage marketing books and career guides from other authors that are readily available from major on-line bookstores. At this point I am not offering reviews of these books. Any books that you read will contribute to your marketing education, and with the education you get on this site you will be able to see what books offer basic insights into marketing, and what ones have ideas that can really leverage your business into higher ground.

Take one caution though with any massage marketing book. The vast majority of massage therapists utilize the same type of marketing. And it is not very good marketing. Naturally, you will ask the question, “Where did everyone learn to market like that?” Well, probably from the massage marketing books and instruction they received in massage school. Just because a massage marketing book is commonly used, does not make it a great book. Often massage marketing books are chosen for education programs because they are a safe choice. So please, learn as much as you can, but ultimately choose to use marketing that is very effective, not just a copy of what everyone else is doing.

You will find books in three categories:

  1. Massage marketing specific books.

  2. Marketing books that are not specific to massage – these can be valuable because most other therapists won’t be reading them, and so won’t be using the ideas.

  3. Massage Business books that do not focus on marketing, but may help you be more professional and talented at what you do, which in my mind is great marketing. (Getting better at solving client's problems is always good marketing.)
