We will talk more in later pages about how to use words that help your clients, so don't be to concerned about how to do it yet. For now, realizing that solving your clients problems -- every possible problem that you can, before you meet them, through every step of their interactions with you, and after they leave -- is the very best marketing you can do. It is a natural extension of your massage service. It lowers their stress. It makes their lives flow easier. A wonderful result of using Client Problem Solving Marketing is that your entire business will be more holistic in how it helps your clients. You will be bringing a higher level of awareness into your business on your client's behalf. To achieve this take some time and think about every single step that your client has to go through to get to your service, long before they meet you. And for existing clients, think about the steps they go through before seeing you again. Make it all easy for them. To see the real value in this, think about your business interactions. How many times have you gone into a business, for instance a hardware store, and you had to work at getting what you wanted? You went in for a piece of hardware, searched all over, tried to find someone to help you, only to find that that person did not seem to really care, nor did they appear to be very knowledgeable. In fact, you could have found it quicker yourself. This is only in the store. The business was also hard to find. It was hard to park, and difficult to see if they were open. These sorts of problems exist at most businesses. Most don't focus no solving your problems. Instead, they focus on themselves, their services, their products and the stuff they want to sell. Start seeing how hard you have to work to get what you want with most businesses, and imagine how you would solve those problems if you were them. Now let us step back and look at our yellow pages client once again. What was her problem before she even opened the yellow pages? She did not know of any massage therapists. No friend of hers had recommended one. How can your massage marketing solve this problem for her, or at least lots of others like her? Well, how much easier for her would it have been if one of your existing clients had recommended you? Your clients may already refer to you. However, to help more people with this problem, you can setup a referral program. This program will encourage and help your clients to tell their friends and family about you, helping those people avoid this problem. It is actually several big problems. She is going to be pretty uncomfortable going to someone who was not recommended. She is wondering, "What will they be like? Will I be safe? Are they any good? Will it be a waste of money?" You see how getting a referral solves many of her problems? You can jump ahead now to learn more about referral program systems in the massage marketing muscles section, but I recommend you stick with the bones for now. You are probably starting to get a feel for this. Keep at it. This concept will remain central to everything you do with your massage marketing. Just remember, the purpose of every word and action you take interacting with your clients, and with advertising, is all designed to help them. Your massage marketing will streamline their ease in using your services. Also, keep in mind that you can be so much more versatile with your massage marketing than just using advertising. What's next? To do a good job at solving people's problems with massage marketing, you have to be able to understand what their problems are. You have to look through their eyes.
