The other field of thought suggests that if a client is given a massage of yours, and does not use it, the likelihood of them becoming a regular paying client is not good. If it takes special effort to get them to get a free massage, referred from a friend, they are not the best customer for you to put effort towards. So what do you do? Probably the best approach is one that varies. If you are already very busy, then getting lots of money for your work, without having to put in more hours, would be more valuable.
