Hi! I am the author of this free massage marketing resource site, www.massage-marketing-tips.com.

My marketing education came through a combination of real world experience owning several businesses (both massage businesses and others) and from a compelling desire to learn and succeed. For many years I extensively studied a wide range of marketing experts both in the massage therapy industry and outside that industry.

My last business was a massage therapy center. There were four massage therapists offering a broad range of bodywork services. The center was also a massage therapy supply store, a comprehensive aromatherapy store and also offered yoga classes and supplies.

Before selling this business I found it an amazing test bed for not only marketing massage services, but also for learning about the different needs and hardships that so many therapists have in growing their businesses. My friendships with hundreds of massage therapists in the area is what lead to my desire to help, and ultimately to the writing of this free massage-marketing-tips resource site.

After selling that business I became a massage marketing consultant for private clients in Tucson, Arizona - and through e-mail, therapists around the world. I have since stopped offering consultations and have moved on to a new business.

I am also fortunate to be married to an exceptional massage therapist. My wife has a wide range of massage business experience. She has worked in clinics focused on injury and treatment work (insurance work), has owned and operated her own personal practice (no-insurance work), has been an employer and manager of multiple therapists and our massage therapy supply store. And she also has experience working in high end resort spas. She is also a certified aromatherapist and has been a yoga teacher. She is an invaluable resource to my work.
